Background
I have over 20 years of general insurance experience across the breadth of insurance groups. This experience has primarily been in motor insurance underwriting, pricing, and claims, working with the likes of Direct Line Group, Hastings, Legal & General and RSA. Latterly in my corporate career I launched an MGA and claims business Coral Insurance for Budget Holdings, leaving BHL with a dream of setting up our own business, Cogent Claims, initially as an inhouse claims function for two MGAs before our liability agnostic solution went to market. I’m excited for the next chapter in our journey to bring something truly different to the motor claims market with the support of BHL as our investors.
